The theme ‘Freedom’ has now been extended and covers ‘Freedom to Learn’, ‘Freedom to Innovate’, ‘Freedom to Develop’ and ‘Freedom to Operate’. ETH is about freedom and it is expressed in its creations, organization culture and its empowerment process.

Innovation has been the life spring of ETH right from its inception and it is reflected in its logo, website, programs, products and services, so much so that it will like to promote the theme of innovation everywhere, in education, institutions and enterprises. The word ‘ETH’ was ideated by its Group Chairman Mr. C Sivasankaran, an innovative serial entrepreneur, a harbinger of PC, Mobile and Broadband revolutions in India. ETH Research Lab is led by Dr. Vijay P. Bhatkar, the Father of Indian Supercomputers and an acclaimed ICT leader, who is architecting the programs of ETH Research Lab.
